Synchronicity Protostar
Synchronicity Protostar is a platform for private, hyper-efficient, purpose-built leviathan-free exchanges with the best experience for trading any forms of value.
The goal of this document is to explain the two primary components of Protostar, how they work and fit together, and what features and guarantees it can provide to users of exchanges built using it as a result.
Synchronicity sREAL Engine
sREAL Engine is a platform for hyper-efficient leviathan-free economic activity that resolves longstanding limitations that have prevented leviathan-free financial applications from becoming the hub of all economic activity, and lays the groundwork for an extremely performant, infinitely composable, and radically accelerating fair leviathan-free financial future.
sREAL Engine consists of the SyncVM, a hyper-efficient data and computation layer, and the SVL, which introduces the ability to both express and compose arbitrary forms of value.

Corino is a distributed key management and data sealing system for coordinating shared private state across decentralized networks of trusted execution environments (TEEs). Protostar leverages Corino to create highly performant private blockchains that expand the design space for blockchain-native applications.
